Our story
The First Version
The first prototype emerges. It was not intended for widespread use and was created more as an experiment with limited application potential. However, the prototype's success and potential determined the project's future development.
2004
Product Establishment
Intensive development and feature expansion, with frequent updates—each adding several new capabilities at once. Creation of a distinctive user interface style, which remains largely intact to this day.
The Birth of netcontrol2.com
The international domain netcontrol2.com is registered and remains in use today.
Entry into the US Market
Through the efforts of an American distributor, the product is launched in the US market and gains widespread adoption in educational institutions. It was initially offered under the distributor's brand as a localized OEM version and later released under its own name.
Release of Version 8.0
One of the most widely used and longest-lived versions of the product. Despite being nearly twenty years old, our technical support service still periodically receives inquiries regarding the use of this version's software, which we are happy to address.
Server Edition
Introduction of the Net Control 2 Professional Server Edition, specifically designed for large organizations and a high number of managed computers. Server functions simplify setup and provide centralized deployment and licensing.
Net Control 2 SmallClass
The release of the SmallClass edition completes the formation of the product edition package offered to this day: for small classrooms, large networks, and a universal solution for most needs.
2015
Multi-Platform Support
The first step beyond the Windows and PC platform: mobile clients for iOS and Android are published in app stores. In 2015, the first version of the software for the Apple Mac platform and OS X is released.
2019
Qualitative Development
Throughout the second half of the 2010s, the software undergoes qualitative refinement towards greater usability, compatibility with various hardware and platforms, and support for non-standard configurations.
2023
Modern Generation
The release of Version 20 marks the beginning of a new era of development: major updates are released annually, new licensing models are offered, and the product acquires a modern overall appearance. The release of a Linux version completes the formation of the current multi-platform offering package.
